It was a great morning in the Grove on Friday for the Veteran's Day parade. The parade usually takes place in Village West, but thanks to funding by Commissioner Ken Russel's office, the route was extended into the Center Grove.
It started at the Playhouse, came up Main Highway, turned onto Commodore Plaza then turned into Village West. Above from left: County Commissioner Xavier Suarez and Commissioner Ken Russell.
Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado was part of the parade and so was Francis Suarez with his family, at right is veteran and friend Richard Deilke.
It was a nice small village parade. At left is our friend JR Rashid with friend in an orange car.
