New fish market opening in Village West

Where can you find fresh, local fish to buy in Coconut Grove? Up until now, not many places. But now, Grovite Indira Fumes, which many of you remember as the energetic, charismatic bartender from Scotty's Landing, for the last 16 years, has ventured out on her own. She saw a lack in availability of fresh, local fish in the area and she came up with Shore to Door, a fresh fish market.

Indira has partnered with local fisherman Siggy Ozols,of Hot Shot Charters at Dinner Key Marina. They found a small, yet perfect location in the West Grove.  It will offer fresh, locally caught seafood available daily including Mahi, Salmon, Sea Bass and more. There is shellfish like mussels, oysters, lobster, clams. Also, they will be selling fresh, homemade Bahamian style conch salad, homemade hot sauces and marinades, and beers/wines also hostess baskets..

The store hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 to 5 pm.
