CocoWalk hosting Dog Days of Summer
CocoWalk is holding Dog Days of Summer on Saturday, August 20 from 3 to 7 pm. This is their second annual dog festival.
Several canine friendly vendors will offer pet friendly activities and giveaways such as the Pooch Perks station. Visitors and their pets can play with interactive toys, take a photo in their Instagram photo booth and sign up to be part of the Pooch Perks Box raffle. Pooch Perks Post was founded by the team at PoochPerks.com to provide fellow dog lovers useful information and tips about Dog safety, travel, and nutrition.
Presenting sponsor Equipaws Pet Services will have a hydration station. Inspired with your dog's health in mind, each pet will cool down with water in their own disposable bowls. After a refreshing drink, pets and their owners can create their personalized paw print masterpiece. Suggested donation of $5 will be given to a local pet rescue. Get involved with Bark for Life, an event dedicated to helping pets with Cancer and enter for a chance to win prizes in the American Cancer SocietyEast Kendall Relay for Life Raffle. All items sold by CocoWalk and the East Kendall Relay for Life booth will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
If your pet is talented, sign-up for the 2nd Annual My Pup’s Got Talent Competition beginning at 5:00 pm. Owners and pets interested in competing can do so by signing up on the Eventbrite page here.
Don’t have a furry friend? No problem, the Miami- Dade Animal Services will be on property
with pups in need of a loving home.
Make sure to pass by the CocoWalk registration booth to learn how you can take home a
goody bag and learn more information about the event.
