He's getting the Coconut Grove name out there

For years, tourists have been asking for souvenirs, but we really didn't have many that said, "Coconut Grove," here in the Grove. We had "Miami" things, but no Grove things, but Noel Garcia owner of a bunch of Grove businesses is changing that. Little by little, he has been having items branded with a Coconut Grove logo and selling them to happy tourists at the Lucky 14 Smoke Shop on Main Highway.

Noel started with t-shirts and there are lots of colors and styles now and also he added coffee cups, shot glasses and other things. People see the items in the window out front and then go in to purchase.

His next project is Coconut Grove post cards. This is one of my images at left, I took this photo, with my iPhone, I might add. It will be one of maybe 20 different images sold on the post cards.

Noel doesn't make a profit, in fact, most of the t-shirts he's given away to locals, just so that when they wear them, they are advertising the Grove.

So if you want some branded Grove items or have family and friends in town looking for souvenirs. Send them to the Lucky 14 Smoke Shop at 3418 Main Highway. The post cards are not printed yet, but they will be soon.

Sarnoff & his henchmen (Hi Ron, what do you do with yourself these days), tried to run Noel out of town. Keep that in mind.

Just as they did so many other businesses, with their "fall in line and support us, or we'll have the cops & code enforcement in here every single day" threats.

I hope creative business people can thrive here now.

Talk about beating a dead horse "Hi Ron, Sarnoff, henchmen"! Plainly dim witted, stupid and just plain ignorant!
