They're out of their skulls at Grove Ink

Check these heads out. They're part of an art project at Grove Ink. The people participating started with a blank,white skeleton head as shown here. These are hard plastic, not foam. The goal is to make something cool and then be judged by the public - something Mad Max-ish, I would assume.

Noel Garcia, owner of Grove Ink (3062 Grand Avenue) tells me that the winner will receive $200 or so and the public will have the deciding vote.

Here are the 5 completed heads, there may be more. During the next FAM Night (Fashion, Art and Music), on Saturday, November 7, the completed heads will be in the window at Grove Ink, pass by and cast your vote that night.

They are really special in person, so be sure to pop over and take a look close up and vote.
