I can't attend this event but I'd love someone to ask Ken Russell, Teresa Sarnoff, and Grace Solares, how they can claim to be "independent" voices on the commission when they have been endorsed by all of the worst establishment polticians in Miami. We need new blood, a political ethnic cleansing to save Miami not people who ally themselves to the old guard.

Any one who gets endorsements like theses candidates have is enough for me not to vote for any of them.

While worded harshly, that guy has a good point. How can you be an outsider, but be endorsed by the current mayor?

How is it, how does running for public office become an event where folks attending are asked to pay an entry fee? I should get paid to listen to nine people contrive to out do the eight other candidates. Jobie Steppe
