Merrie Christmas Pot Luck Picnic on Saturday

After a year and a half, Merrie Christmas park is finally open - and toxic free! The neighbors are rejoicing and they're throwing a party. Friends of Merrie Christmas Park and Ken Russell, candidate for Miami Commissioner invite you to join the Neighborhood Pot Luck Picnic on Saturday, April 4 from noon to 4 pm.

Bring a dish to share or pack your own lunch, there will be a slip 'n slide for the kids and an Easter egg hunt.

Please rsvp to ken@kenrussellmiami.com or call 786-218-4177.

I'm liking these small neighborhood pot luck events, last weekend it was the Mary Street group and now the Merrie Christmas Park neighbors. The Grove is coming back to being "The Grove" again.

Is there any progress on Douglas Park on 37th near bird? That has been gated off for over a year as well.
