Movie nights at Vizcaya have been a tradition since James Deering lived at the estate, but they're adding a twist by showing movies that were filmed here, like this month's feature.
Sinatra stars as Tony Rome, a tough Miami Private Investigator, hired by a local millionaire (who happens to live at Vizcaya) to find his daughter's jewelry. In the process of solving the crime, Rome takes us on a tour of Miami's landmarks as they were in the 1960s.
Movie time is 7 pm.Tickets are $18; for members: $12. They may be purchased here.

Black Sunday and Absence of Malice have some great shots of Miami in the late 70's and early 80's.
