This is a huge and a great vote of confidence for the Grove. I've been following Clyde for 20 years, and have purchased a number of his photos over the years, including my very first at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival in 1996 (Skillet Strand). The Butchers are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and have been, through their art and many ways otherwise, thoughtful, tireless advocates for Florida's endangered resources and landscapes. I can't think of a better "new" neighbor than Clyde and Nikki. And while I hope the Grove gallery receives lots of foot traffic, for those who find themselves loving what they see, venture out to the Big Cypress Gallery, which you can find 30 miles west of Krome Avenue on Tamiami Trail. And be sure to say hello to Loosescrew - but not from too close.
