Grovite crowned Mrs. Accomplished American

Grovite Stayc Simpson, owner of Gymagination and Kindermusik in Coconut Grove, was crowned Mrs. Accomplished American 2014 last month during the National Pageant. Shawn Cunningham, Mrs. Accomplished American 2013, presented Stayc the award.

Stayc competed with women from around the United States for the national title. The event is the ultimate achievement pageant designed to honor and recognized women who have achieved both personal and professional success. It is the only pageant system of its kind in the world, where there are no scores for beauty and contestants control up to 60% of their scores through volunteering in their community and lifetime accomplishments.

Stayc is the recipient of President George W. Bush’s Call to Service Award for over 4,000 hours of community service. She is a sought after spokesperson, role model, advocate and titleholder who enjoys giving and sharing of her time with others. She volunteers her time as a supporter and director of Queen for a Day.  Stayc also dedicates her time with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Cancer Society. Stayc is a cancer survivor herself, after overcoming a terminal diagnosis of lymphoma, almost 18 years ago.

She is also a pageant judge and is the current director for Miss Miami’s Outstanding Teen for Miss America.

It's an honor to live in the same community with such an individual.

Good luck Ms. Simpson. We should strive to participate in or at Gymagination & Kindermusik in Coconut Grove to show our respect and support for this very special human being.
