Vizcaya's Farm Village

Curbed Miami has some great images of what is to become of the Miami Science Museum site when it moves downtown from it's current location across from Vizcaya. As you know the site was part of Vizcaya known as the Farm Village, the spot where James Deering, owner of Vizcaya had the villa's farm. We ran a little history of Village Farm in January sent in by my friend historian Arva Moore Parks. You can see that here.

I love how Vizcaya is going even more green while so much of Coconut Grove is being paved over.

I wish this would be turned into a public magnet school teaching STEM (Science, technology, engineering, math). We need to foster the next generation of intelligent Miamians.

MiaSci has not kept the place clean. How will they possibly manage and clean a larger new facility?
