Hot, fresh pizza hand delivered to movie theater
Walter Cannova takes out the dough for mini-pizzas that New York Roma Pizza is preparing for the Paragon movie theaters at CocoWalk. That's Leonel Lopez behind him.
The pizza place on McFarlane road makes the pizzas and brings them over, freshly made to the movie theater across the way, the theater then bakes them up for their customers. It's great because the movie-goers are getting the New York style pizza's directly from a pizza place, freshly made and they are baked on the spot as they are ordered.
This is how they are brought over to the theater -- all ready to go, they just need to be cooked. NY Roma Pizza is also supplying pizzas to AMC theaters. The Grove Paragon theater sells about 200 a day.
The newest venture at the Paragon movie theater is Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and is called Wednesday Wine & Movie night, where for $15 you have the wine tasting with complimentary appetizers and afterwards, guests can watch a classic or foreign film in the private screening room, which is part of the new Backlot Wine Bar and Lounge.
If you're not into classic or foreign films, for just $5.00 more, you may enter one of the other theaters to see a new release. No reservations needed. Parking at CocoWalk is just $2.00.
