Lots of cruise ship passengers visiting
If the Grove seemed overly crowded yesterday, that is because over 500 passengers from the MS Balmoral were bussed into the Central Grove to do some shopping, dining and hanging out. They seemed to enjoy the locals at the Sandbar Grill. There seemed to be more people at Sandbar yesterday, than any other location in the Grove -- but the streets were mobbed all over. The temperature was perfect and it was really a Chamber of Commerce day.
I noticed one huge bus screeching around the corner from McDonald Street onto Grand Avenue while I was waiting for take-out at Somoto. Usually they come up Mary Street and park in front of Mayfair, guess they took the other way around this time.

I saw them. Bunch of old British people freaking out at the crowd at Sandbar. It was funny.
Cruise ship people are GREAT> No cars they just bring into the Grove their money and will go home with wonderful memories of Coconut Grove. Keep em coming
