More pics of the "Ladybug", please. I don't get out, much.
I haven't been to the Halloween Celebration in the Grove for a few years, but it still looks as interesting as ever.
Anybody see the INSANE costume of a girl NAKED with the exception of two black "Censored" bars (they were like literally cardboard or foam rectangular boxes) covering her breasts and private area? I saw her around wet willies... OMG.
I'm glad everyone had fun.
Unlike us -- who came home from the great ring ceremony but horrible game at the Triple A.
Took 10 minutes to get to the north grove from the arena and then another 90 minutes trying to get home in the south grove.
I don't recall anything in the newspaper letting the residents know to expect this.
If you did not know there was going to be traffic in the Grove on Halloween then you are obviously new to the area.
No -- I don't consider living here 20 years as 'new' to the area :-)
We usually just 'bunker up -- meaning leave car at home' for Halloween -- as we do for the Arts Festival and everything else that allows the non-residents to take over our village (without regard for the residents).
But alas -- our Miami Heat had a game scheduled -- and a World Championship ceremony for the hometown team seemed like a 'good thing' to attend.
Of course we knew there would be events for Halloween -- we are not brain dead. And we are proud that CocoWalk has become such a family oriented venue.
What we didn't expect was the amount of vehicular traffic at midnight. Going IN to the Grove. Where were all the cars going? There certainly isn't that amount of parking available in the grove. Or maybe, that's the problem.
We didn't have anything near that chaos when the 25,000 people left the Arena.
I guess you just had to be trying to get HOME (you know -- where the exhorbitant tax revenue comes from)at midnight to experience the frustration.
Come to Coconut Grove -- where the taxpayer comes LAST.
The guy showing his ass is always in coconut groove on halloween i have seen him for the last three years and he is always alone ...
I also saw the girl with the censored costume ....
