So now the creeps on the Board of Directors for the Coconut Grove Playhouse want to undo the historic status. They want to appeal the recent decision to spare the landmark.
At a meeting tomorrow, lawyers for the greedy board are going to argue that the 1926 structure has on historical value.
Miami historian Arva Moore Parks put it best: "I don't understand how a public institution that relies on public goodwill would write this kind of document [the rude, nasty appeal].
Guess Arva doesn't realize that the Board is in some developer's pocket.

ReplyDeleteOf course the Coconut Grove Playhouse should keep it historical status.
It's among the last 2 or 3 pieces of evidence that the whole village area was not just built within the last couple of decades.
